How does nutrition coaching work?

First, we will have a consultation to talk about what you want from nutrition coaching. This would also include the discussion of whether you require online nutrition coaching or not too. This is a simple chat just to get to know what your goals are and your general lifestyle habits. 

We will also assess what your food intake is like and for the first 1-2 weeks collect data like MFP entries and digestion questionnaire. This is when you'll start to learn about diet and the education begins. Education in relation to your diet and lifestyle will be the key to unlocking a better relationship with food.

You will have continuous contact with your online nutrition coach and be able to ask questions and receive educated guidance on more complex subjects digestion, nutrients and supplementation.

I worked with Chris online to improve my overall health and fitness. Having been previously overweight and quite sedentary, my relationship with food and nutrition wasn’t optimal.

 

Since losing weight and adding fitness and exercise into my life, I’d also trained up as a fitness instructor. I was training three-four times a week in addition to instructing over ten classes a week.

 

Chris proved invaluable in helping me ensure I was fuelling my body in the best way for both performance and recovery.  He taught me lots of useful hacks when it came to the timing of meals alongside the right macronutrient  supplementation. Not only did we work on this, but we also looked at the importance of mindfulness based eating and hydration and being sure to be fully present whilst eating, this was one of the important factors to be present and aware of what was being consumed.
